Return & Exchange Policy

At Cohen’s, we take pride in providing quality products and excellent customer service. Please review our Return & Exchange Policy before making your purchase.

Most Sales Are Final

Most purchases are considered final sale. Returns, refunds, or exchanges are only available with management approval and in accordance with the conditions outlined below.

Please inspect your merchandise immediately upon pickup or delivery.

Reporting Damage or Defects

Any visible or concealed damage, defects, missing parts, or other concerns must be reported within 48 hours of pickup or delivery.

If a reported issue is confirmed to be the result of a manufacturing defect or damage, Cohen’s may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product with the same item (if available)
  • Offer a comparable replacement or reselection if the original item is unavailable

Failure to report damage or defects within 48 hours may affect your eligibility for service.

Manufacturer Warranty

Most furniture products with manufacturing defects are covered by a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.

In most cases, warranty claims are handled by repairing the product first. Replacement or reselection will only be considered if the product cannot be reasonably repaired.

Appliance warranty concerns are handled directly through the manufacturer or authorized service provider in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty.

Extend Your Protection with the Elite Comprehensive Protection Plan

For added peace of mind, Cohen’s offers the Elite Comprehensive Protection Plan on qualifying purchases.

The Elite Comprehensive Protection Plan provides coverage beyond the manufacturer’s warranty and helps protect your investment from many of life’s unexpected accidents and mishaps, including eligible stains, accidental damage, and mechanical failures on covered products.

Benefits may include:

  • Protection beyond the manufacturer’s warranty
  • Coverage for eligible accidental damage. Pet damage is not covered.
  • Mechanical and electrical failure coverage on eligible products
  • Convenient claims service
  • Professional repair or replacement when covered under the plan

The Elite Comprehensive Protection Plan must be purchased at the time of your original purchase and is available on qualifying products only.

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded:

Clearance & As-Is Merchandise

All clearance and as-is merchandise is sold in its current condition.

  • No refunds or exchanges.
  • Products purchased from Cohen’s Clearance Centres generally carry no warranty unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Special Orders

Special order merchandise may require a deposit or full prepayment before ordering.

Once your special order arrives, prompt pickup or delivery arrangements are required.

Because these items are ordered specifically for you, special order merchandise is considered final sale.

Furniture Delivery & Fit

Customers are responsible for ensuring purchased furniture will fit through entrances, hallways, stairways, elevators, and into the intended room.

If an item cannot be placed inside your home during delivery, you may choose to:

  • Accept delivery at your own risk
  • Have the item left in a garage or another accessible location
  • Request an exchange (subject to management approval)
  • Request a refund (subject to management approval and applicable fees)
Approved Returns

In the event that management approves a return or exchange:

  • A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply.
  • Delivery, pickup, installation, and service charges are non-refundable.
  • The product must be returned in original condition with all packaging, accessories, manuals, and parts.
Change of Mind

Cohen’s does not offer returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.

Please ensure you are satisfied with your selection, measurements, colour, size, and specifications before completing your purchase.

Refunds

Where a refund is approved by management, it will be processed using the original method of payment whenever possible.

Refunds are issued only in circumstances approved by management and are not guaranteed.
